Nestling at the foot of the beautiful South Downs National Park and located in the village of Willingdon stands the charming 17th Century oak-beamed Chalk Farm Hotel. It boasts eight en-suite bedrooms, many with original features, and provides for a peaceful getaway. Enjoy a freshly cooked full English breakfast in our quaint Inglenook restaurant and then relax in our beautiful gardens. We can also provide lunches, afternoon teas and Sunday lunches although booking is essential.

ACCOMMODATION
Renowned for its friendly atmosphere Chalk Farm Hotel has eight bedrooms that range from deluxe double rooms (pictured) to big family rooms and everything in between. Many rooms are oak beamed with original features and all have quaint charm & character.
We are also dog friendly! With great country walks near by we are the perfect place for you and your four legged friend. Please let us know when booking if you would require a dog friendly room. Dogs are charged at an additional £10 per room.
All our rooms offer free Wi-Fi, complimentary luxury toiletries, towels, LED TV - with freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, and views of either our Gardens or the South Downs National Park.
Check in is at 2pm, however your room may be available earlier, we kindly ask you vacate your room by 10am.
Breakfast is served between 7.30am-9.30am. Please let us know of any dietary requirements and we will be happy to accommodate.
There is ample free parking on our site.

WEDDINGS
From the moment you walk through the door you will be inspired by the lovely gardens and the traditional rustic charm of Chalk Farm Hotel.
The hotel is licensed to hold marriages and civil partnership ceremonies. We offer the perfect location for your special day with the choice of indoor ceremonies or outdoor blessings.
The hotel can accommodate up to 40 guests for a standing indoor ceremony, 95 for an outdoor seated blessing, 46 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast, or 95 guests for a BBQ, hog roast, buffet and for the evening reception. We also have a fully licensed bar.
The landscaped gardens and surrounding countryside offer a lovely setting for those treasured photographs.
The whole of the hotel will be exclusively yours for your special day and the wedding venue is located on the ground floor allowing easy access for all guests.
We do not sell packages, everything is tailor made exactly how you would like it. We also have contacts for DJs, Sweet Carts, Photo Booths, etc so everything can be booked through us making your planning as stress free as possible. FUNCTIONS
Offering exceptional facilities, there is a choice of function rooms to accommodate all guests, whether parties are large or small.
Chalk Farm Hotel can accommodate to functions up to 46 people for a sit down meal, and 95 for a disco, buffet or BBQ. We have a fully licensed bar, large restaurant/ disco room, two more intimate restaurants and we also have large outdoor areas, you can choose to have as much or as little space as you would like.
We do not sell packages, everything is tailor made especially for you. We offer a range of different buffet menus and meals as well as many different drinks receptions. We also have contacts with suppliers such as DJs, Sweet Carts, Bouncy Castles, Photo Booths, etc. So everything can be easily booked through us.

Three course dinner is available every night of the week. (Minimum of ten people per booking)
We have a large restaurant that can cater up to 46 people and two smaller restaurants that can accommodate up to 15 people. We can also host lunches and dinners outside in our gardens during the summer months.
Children's menu is half the portion for half the price.

CONFERENCES
As an established conference centre, Chalk Farm Hotel is a unique venue for businesses. With years of experience and expertise, it is the personal touches and attention to detail that will ensure that your business event runs smoothly, without compromise.
We can accommodate from small meetings to full training days up to 50 delegates depending on your conference requirements.
With Wi-Fi, OHP and Screen, flip chart, photocopier, tea/coffee, biscuits and a buffet lunch included in the price, Chalk Farm Hotel is about a mile from the nearest train station - Polegate, and just off the A22 and A27, its a quiet country hotel with good links to London, Eastbourne and Brighton.
CHALK FARM LDC
Chalk Farm LDC (Learning Disabilities Centre) is run by the local charity E.A.P.A.G. (Eastbourne Area Parents Action Group).
Our aim is to give adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to receive training within a realistic working hotel setting and in our hotel gardens. We offer a structured, tailor-made training programme where students gain experience in all aspects of hospitality and/ or horticulture. Our students learn a range of skills in order to prepare them to gain a career in the industry in a safe and friendly environment. We also have classroom based activities which include improving Maths, English and the theory side of the job. We see their confidence and social skills flourish while they learn valuable life skills.
With individual goals set and certificates of achievements awarded our students have great motivation to do well and love training with us here at Chalk Farm LDC.
